Apparel Valley is celebrating Icelandic Design's 30th Anniversary by offering an exclusive pre-sale for Icelandic Design's Fall/Winter 2011 collection! This collection continues the tradition of beauty and craftsmanship while using updated shapes and new fabrics to add style. It consists of four different lines: Metropolitan, Dottir, Nordic, Sport, and Newari.
Metropolitan- is geared towards the fashion foward boutique with a wearable, urban slant. Bold shapes and jaunty seaming are just some of the details that mark this year's Metropolitan collection. Anchored in boiled wool, textural interest is created with the use of stretch fabrics, tulle, and lace. Silhouettes offer a variety, from trim vests and jackets to asymmetrical and cascading collars, ruffles flourishes and curved fronts.
